This studio with harbor frontage is conceived to marry regional elements of the coastal Northeast with a modern design ethos. Working with reclaimed, raw timbers and a restrained palette of local materials and colors, the form explores indoor/outdoor relationships and adaptations of coastal New England typologies to blend seamlessly into the landscape. The program includes a design studio, guest areas, kitchen and bath, with a screened porch located opposite the main property to form a link.
