Andrew Franz presents the Hill Office as part of the AIANY Interiors Committee Speed Presentations, this year revolving around the theme of "Wellness."
The Hill Office, a 32,500 square-foot space in a 1913 building near Manhattan’s Hudson Yards neighborhood, is designed for collaboration, movement, and transparency to create an engaging and healthy work environment. Integrating principles of "Active Design", the circulation paths encourage people to move throughout the day, promoting physical activity while generating happenstance meetings and the exchange of ideas. The views and abundant daylight are celebrated and democratized for all to enjoy, and rich, textured materials, a diverse mix of vintage and new furnishings, and extensive plantings bring a sense of human personality to the workspaces.
